ICT Digital Support Analyst X 2 - Bridgwater / Hinkley Point C - 25,000- 40,000 - Permanent
We are looking for 2 talented and dedicated IT Support Engineers to join our team at Hinkley Point C. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and supporting our IT systems, ensuring that all technical issues are resolved promptly and effectively. You will be a key point of contact for IT support, providing expert assistance and troubleshooting across various systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support for a variety of IT business systems, including those related to engineering, construction, work orders, HR, ERP, and other critical applications that support the operations of a nuclear power station. Ensure all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively to minimise downtime and disruption.
2. Manage and resolve support tickets, prioritising tasks based on urgency and impact, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
3. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and escalate when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
4. Monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability, including conducting routine maintenance and updates.
5. Assist with the implementation of new IT solutions, ensuring they are integrated smoothly with existing systems.
6. Provide training and guidance to users on best practices and new technologies, ensuring they are equipped to use systems effectively.
7. Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to align support efforts with broader technology initiatives.
8. Document all support processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to maintain up-to-date records for future reference.
9. Continuously identify areas for improvement within the IT support function, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality.
10. Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates on ticket status, system health, and other key metrics.
Requirements:
11. 1+ years experience in an IT support role, with a strong track record of resolving technical issues.
12. Willingness to work onsite at Hinkley Point C.
13. Must be able to apply for SC clearance
14. In-depth knowledge of IT business systems
15. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
16. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
17. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
