Role Overview: As a Supported Living Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Supported Living Accommodations (5 Accommodations in total). Your responsibilities will include ensuring high-quality care and support services for our residents, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide strong leadership to supported living staff, creating a positive and supportive work environment.
• Ensure all aspects of the Statement of Purpose are achieved.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans for residents in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Maintain accurate records related to resident care, staff performance, and operational activities.
• Manage Rota and shifts cover
• Monitor the quality of care and support services, conducting regular assessments and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with National Minimum Standards and relevant legislation.
• Participate in staff recruitment, training, and supervision of the Services staff.
• Maintain a Staff Training Matrix and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Manage the services budget efficiently, ensuring resource optimization and adherence to financial targets.
• Act as a liaison between residents, families, and external agencies.
• Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and inclusion within the Service.
Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (required).
• Willingness to work towards achieving NVQ Level 5
• Proven managerial experience in a Supported Living/Care Home or similar setting.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for supported living .
