We wish to appoint a dedicated, hard-working Family Support Assistant to work in our Pupil/Family Support Team from September 2025. It is essential that the post holder will add to the positive ethos of Oakhill, for the benefit of our children & staff, by being willing to take part in the wider life of the school.
We are looking for a Family Support Assistant who will:
1. Provide high quality, well planned in-school support and guidance for families in order to promote high expectations, raise aspirations and facilitate positive outcomes for all our pupils.
2. Signpost and facilitate parent access to sources of support and information empowering them to address various challenges for the benefit of their children.
3. Raise the attendance and punctuality levels of targeted children.
4. Be committed to continual improvement and have a drive to develop their own practice.
