Role Overview
Job Title: Account Manager
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £32k - £36k depending on experience
Location: Hybrid
We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to hit the ground running and support our growing client portfolio. In this role, you will be a crucial link between our clients and the agency, ensuring seamless execution of projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, fabrication, and production, to deliver innovative and memorable experiences that meet client objectives.
No two projects are the same, so the ideal candidate must be adaptable and willing to navigate the unexpected with a positive, problem-solving mindset. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from industry-leading experts and contribute to delivering high-quality, creative projects.
The success of this role is in the flawless execution of these activations, ensuring we are in budget, on time, and our events are not only engaging but also technically sound, sustainable, and innovative.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for client accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring effective communication and satisfaction. Identify new business and project opportunities with current & prospective clients and be comfortable initiating such conversations.
* Internal & External Processes: Maintain project status documents and ensure that all internal processes are implemented to best in class.
* Project Coordination: Manage day-to-day project details, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring all aspects of the project align with client expectations. Attend and assist with client meetings, site visits, installations, and de-rigs.
* Creative, Strategy and Planning: Contribute to the development of experiential strategies that align with client brand values and objectives, providing insights that drive compelling activations. Assist in project research, mood boarding, and putting together client decks.
* Production: Oversee delivery of projects, including logistics and production schedules; assist and manage production briefings and 3rd party supplier management; assist with booking installation crew to live event management; tour client assets and manage live activations.
* Team Collaboration: Work with creative, production, and operations teams to oversee project deliverables, keeping all parties informed and aligned on goals and timelines.
* Financial Management: Comfortable compiling small to medium-sized budgets, with a general understanding of profitability. Monitor budgets, track project expenses, and provide regular updates to clients on budget status.
* Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging experiential marketing techniques to enhance client strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience: Minimum 2/3 years of account management experience in an agency or brand setting, with a focus on experiential marketing, events, or brand activations.
* Client-Facing Skills: Proven ability to foster strong client relationships, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality service. Comfortable with pitching and presenting ideas to clients online and in person.
* Project Management: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with experience managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
* Production & Technical: Basic understanding and experience working with technical drawings and comfortable leading technical setups for live events. Able to quickly grasp how to operate in-house developed software such as photobooths and karaoke programs.
* Creativity and Insight: A strategic thinker who understands how to translate brand values into engaging and impactful experiences.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate campaign effectiveness and translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
