About Us
Blue Inc has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our team. As the second in command, you will assist the store manager in the management of the store, guiding and motivating the team to ensure a consistent delivery of standards, customer service, and product knowledge to maximize the store's sales and profitability.
You are a hands-on, enthusiastic, and passionate individual with some experience in people management and an eye for visual presentation. You understand the importance of what each sale can contribute to your store’s success and how the strength of your team can affect results.
You will be expected to manage the team and take on another level of responsibility to cover duties in the absence of the store manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Assist the manager in the day-to-day operation of the store.
2. Maximize store profitability by promoting sales within the store.
3. Ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered at all times and lead by example.
4. Manage, coach, and motivate the team to deliver to all targets.
5. Deputize for the manager when necessary.
6. Provide response and support to the on-call team in the event of out-of-hours alarm activations.
Candidates must be fully flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and late nights where the business requires. The position is for 37.5 hours per week with a salary of up to £23,500 per year.
About You
To be the next Assistant Store Manager for our store, you will need to have strong retail experience with a drive to hit sales targets. A passion for quality is key, along with a total commitment to ensuring great customer service; you will be required to lead by example.
Ideally, you will currently be working as an Assistant Manager, supervisor, or are looking to step up from a senior position in a customer-focused retailer seeking a new career challenge.
