Job overview
We are looking for a committed and motivated person to join our established Adult Respiratory Care and Rehabilitation Team (ARCARE). The position would suit someone with good interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a variety of settings. This is an exciting opportunity to support a long term remote monitoring project of patients with chronic respiratory disease. The successful post holder will also be supporting the service by being able to perform diagnostic tests at the point of care, such as spirometry, FeNO and capillary blood gases either in patient’s homes or clinics.
Good communication skills are absolutely essential and a caring approach to dealing with people with chronic respiratory disease and long term disabilities.
This post may need to be asked to work weekend depending on service need.

Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity and you will become a valued member of our highly specialised multi-disciplinary Team consisting of a Respiratory Physiologist, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Occupational Therapist, other Respiratory Support Workers, Psychology and Dietetics. The Team manages and supports people with chronic lung disease in Tower Hamlets, both in the hospital and in their own homes.
Please note that it will be essential for you to be fluent in Bengali (Sylheti) and English.
