Hedron Network – Leeds, City and Borough of Leeds
We’re looking to add to our Wholesale broking team at Hedron. The team has exceptional relationships within both the Hedron Network Partner Brokers and the wider Independent broker segment in the UK Market, and we aim to provide further support to both existing partners and new ones.
You’ll be building on existing relationships with partners and identifying opportunities for further growth and development while placing a range of medium to large risks across all industries.
The day to day:
1. Provide a proactive service to brokers in the marketing and placement of risks utilizing the Hedron panel of insurers.
2. Develop positive relationships across Partner Brokers to support the placement of new risks and unearth opportunities.
3. Build trading relationships across the Hedron panel of insurers.
4. Understand emerging risks and provide insights into sector trends or gaps in current coverage.
5. Focus on delivering the best results for our partner brokers.
6. Support on tackling unfamiliar risks or approaching specialist markets to ensure wherever possible a solution can be found.
About you:
1. You’ll have a positive outlook, enjoy building trading relationships, and delivering great service.
2. Your knowledge of Commercial Insurance should include hands-on broking of risks across SME, Commercial up to Mid Corporate cases across all classes (including Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers).
3. You’ll be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels and should be used to using Word, Excel and be competent with Acturis (or equivalent).
4. You should also be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels within a Broker and have a wider skill set that includes strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, sales, influencing, and IT skills.
