Position: Account Director

Salary: Up to £85,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Package
A truly unique opportunity to join a market leading facilities management business in the role of Account Director for a prestigious contract based in Uxbridge. The Account Director is a key role for the business where you will be pivotal in developing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with the client and key stakeholders. The expectation is that you will provide excellent operational leadership and ultimately be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the contract.
A technical background would be an advantage; however, it is not essential as there is already strong management experience over the contract. This is a multi-site Total FM service contract (TCV) of circa £6m. Due to the nature of the contract, you will be expected to be on site 4 out of 5 days.
The site is based in Uxbridge where you will spend most of your time and then be expected to attend other site visits monthly. The contract itself is in excellent condition with a 5-year extension just been put in place. There is a large and loyal team in place which will provide great support to the Account Director when required.
This is a highly successful contract and operational performance is at its highest since the contract went live. Because of this, there is a healthy relationship with the client, and employee satisfaction and engagement are extremely high.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for the financial performance of the contract
2. Full P&L Responsibility
3. Ensure that all risks relating to (SHEQ) safety, health, environment, and quality are effectively managed
4. Develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers, and sub-contractors
5. Ensure a strong relationship is maintained with the clients, staff, and subcontractors
6. Set, monitor, and control SLAs
7. Seek out potential growth opportunities within the contract where possible
8. Maintain a positive and successful relationship with the client
Candidate Profile:
1. Proven/Successful background managing a similar size FM contract – Open on whether this is Hard/Soft/TFM
2. Technical background is an advantage; however, not essential
3. Previous management experience gained within the FM/Building Services or Engineering Sector
4. 5 years+ experience working within the Facilities Management sector
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Hardworking & driven individual committed to the job
7. Very complex site – Multiple stakeholders, so strong communication skills needed
8. Individual must have excellent commercial acumen & business intelligence
