Join a forward-thinking college in Northamptonshire as a Lecturer in Public Services, where you will contribute to the education and development of students pursuing careers in public services. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality instruction, providing student support, and shaping curriculum content to meet industry standards.
This role is suitable for those with experience in public service such as military, paramedic, police, fire, prison service etc. You do not need to have teaching experience as a fully funded teaching qualification will be offered.
Key Responsibilities
Teach engaging classes to both full-time and part-time students
Serve as a course tutor, tracking student progress and offering personalized guidance to help each student achieve their potential.
Collaborate in the development and refinement of course materials, ensuring alignment with current industry requirements and college objectives.
Participate in college recruitment activities, career fairs, and other events to attract prospective students.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, upholding college safeguarding, health, and safety standards. Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience and qualifications: Background in the Public Services sector, minimum level 3 or similar professional qualification in the area
Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students and a commitment to inclusive education practices.
