This is a substantive post within the Liaison service across 2 sites. You will work alongside existing consultants in Older Peoples mental health who provide sessional support, and a liaison team providing clinical assessment and management of patients with mental health problems at the PRUH Hospital in Farnborough and QEH in Woolwich.
The MHLT service for QEH is different from PRUH. QEH has separate working age and adult teams while PRUH has combined OA & WA which means a consultant can cover both especially based on the demands.
Main duties of the job
The Job plan is 7.5 DCC and 2.5 SPA with job planning details agreed following discussions with the Clinical Director and ACD.
The consultant will provide day to day assessment and management of working age and older adult patients referred to PRU liaison service during working hours.
