Our client is currently recruiting a Project Engineer who will coordinate all technical activities on assigned projects, including the preparation of proposals, project schedules, and coordination of all of the agreed engineering work.
You will ensure that all work is conducted in full compliance with all applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and in full compliance with our client’s standards and values.
Responsibilities
1. Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
2. Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
3. Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
4. Participate in/manage client/Contractor meetings and resolve client/engineering and project management issues.
5. Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
6. Verification and checks of all the project deliverables.
7. Preparation of the project status reports.
Qualifications
1. HND or Degree Level Engineering
2. Experience of CAD/Autodesk Inventor
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Pack
4. Proven abilities to work collaboratively with others
5. Excellent communication and management skills
6. Please note the successful candidate would be required to be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
7. This role would suit a graduate who has some industry experience.
