Job Summary:
As a recent graduate, you will play a key role in delivering safety assessments for hardware and software in electrical, electronic, or programmable electronic products, ensuring they meet Functional Safety Standards, particularly IEC 61508. You will be guided through the process of preparing quotations, offering technical support, and developing assessment reports based on the relevant standards. Throughout this role, you will learn to assess products against established standards like IEC 61508, IEC 61511, ISO 26262, IEC 62061 and ISO 13849. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training and support will be provided to help you succeed.
Primary responsibilities and duties include:
1. Providing assessments and verification to IEC/ISO published standards
2. Review of electronic circuitry to identify potential hardware failures
3. Responding to technical sales enquiries
4. Preparation of project quotation proposals and scope of deliverables for clients, working with the CSA commercial team as necessary
5. Conducting on-site assessments and/or technical audits at client facilities
6. Management of client relations, including the determination of their assessment needs and the setting of appropriate service delivery expectations
7. Sharing of knowledge with other staff and CSA Group as a whole through written or verbal communications and training events
Person Specification:
8. Degree in electrical / electronics, software engineering or equivalent
9. Understanding of electrical/electronic circuitry
10. Familiar with embedded hardware design and software design
11. Basic understanding of software languages, such as C, C++, etc.
12. Good communicator, works well as part of a team
