About the Role: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Integration Architect to join their growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions that seamlessly connect their complex trading systems and legacy infrastructure to their modern cloud environment (AWS). You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and secure flow of data across the organisation, supporting their continued growth and success. Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions for complex trading systems and legacy infrastructure. Migrate data infrastructure from on-premises to the AWS cloud environment, ensuring efficient and scalable data management. Collaborate closely with the trading team to understand their specific data needs and develop solutions that optimise their workflows. Work collaboratively with engineers, data scientists, and the cloud team to ensure seamless integration across all technical teams. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and data scientists, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment. Develop and maintain data mapping strategies using Object Relational Mapping (ORM) systems. Utilise strong Python and Java skills to develop and maintain data pipelines and transformation processes. Experience in reading and interpreting commodities data. (Experience in finance is a plus). Maintain a strong focus on system integration and ensure all data flows are secure and reliable. Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of experience in data integration architecture. Proven experience in migrating data infrastructure to the cloud (AWS preferred). In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Strong understanding of complex trading systems and financial data. Experience working with legacy systems and modern technologies. Expertise in Object Relational Mapping (ORM) systems. Excellent Python and Java programming skills. Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and data scientists.
