Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated and qualified KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Great Harwood. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our primary school students, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall success of our school.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Must hold a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or equivalent.
2. Demonstrated experience working in a classroom setting, preferably with KS1 students.
3. Familiarity with the national curriculum and an understanding of the developmental needs of primary school children.
4. Ability to work effectively across all primary year groups.
Responsibilities:
5. Provide classroom support to the class teacher, assisting in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
6. Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives and provide additional support as needed.
7. Assist in the preparation and organization of teaching materials and resources.
8. Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
9. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to address the individual needs of students.
10. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
