Our client based in Wrexham is looking to add an Accounts administrator to their small and friendly team. This position is being offered as a part time position up to 25hours per week based on the versatility of the successful candidate.
Job Description:
They are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated Financial Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their team in Wrexham. The ideal candidate will have an AAT qualification and a strong background in financial administration and bookkeeping. As a Financial Accounts Admin / Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining the financial stability for their company. You will be aiding external accountants in getting information collected for reporting.
Responsibilities :
1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
2. Process and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
3. Monitor and analyse financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
5. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
6. Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
7. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Desired experience and qualifications
8. AAT qualification is required.
9. Proven experience as a Financial Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper or similar role.
10. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and procedures.
11. Proficiency in using accounting software particularly Sage and Xero.
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
13. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
17. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
