We are looking for a Head of PR (Maternity Cover) to join the Brand team at Ennismore. This contracted position will lead the PR globally across The Hoxton, Hyde, Morgans Originals and Working From_, while also supporting new openings in new markets.
Based in London and reporting to the EVP Brand Marketing, you will ensure The Hoxton, Hyde, Morgans Originals, and Working From_ remain top of mind and highly respected throughout the industry and beyond, through killer media relations, thought-out global strategies that elevate the brands, and bold, engaging ideas that support Ennismore’s mission to create the world’s most innovative hospitality brands. You will translate business objectives into creative and clever PR campaigns, and drive the comms strategy for the brands, across both consumer and business media.
Job Description
What you’ll do…
1. Execute a PR strategy which enhances the reach and reputation of The Hoxton, Hyde, Morgans Originals and Working From_ brands, whilst supporting their revenue goals. Ensure PR campaigns and resulting coverage support the brands on their quest to be the most respected and innovative hospitality companies out there.
2. Deliver high-quality coverage that communicates the full scope of the brands and their different values. This role is directly responsible for managing and executing UK PR, with the support of a PR Assistant, and a UK PR Manager (who leads on the UK Hoxton properties)
3. Support on-property PR leads and Brand Managers to ensure PR is continuous and supports any local business needs.
4. Drive and generate brand feature placement in key consumer and business media targets. With the support of a UK PR Assistant, Brand Managers and property PR leads generate regular coverage across online, offline, blogs and social, to support both current openings and new launches, to ensure the brands are top of mind throughout the travel/ hospitality industry.
5. Take ownership of launching new properties to market from a comms perspective, by researching and selecting new PR agencies, delivering media timelines and strategies, press releases and influencer relations.
6. Own and maintain relationships with key journalists in UK and beyond – this role isn’t supported by a UK agency for all brands, so relationships with press and influencers are paramount to ensure the brands are always top of mind.
7. Seamlessly integrate PR with the overall brand and marketing strategies, ensuring business objectives are always prioritised, and advise teams on how ideas can be elevated through PR.
8. Manage the PR Coordinator as a direct report. Lead and coach the wider PR team to support them in their continued professional development.
9. Work closely with the Head of Content and Head of Partnerships for thought-out influencer marketing strategies and brand partnerships across platforms.
10. Lead campaigns to ensure The Hoxton, Hyde, Morgans Originals and Working From_ each develop as respected and responsible brands and be able to manage any crisis comms that may arise.
11. Provide insightful reporting for the global leadership team, stakeholders and on-property teams, through monthly reports and project wrap-ups to evaluate the success of projects.
12. Be able to confidently communicate and influence a variety of stakeholders when and where required.
13. Provide strategic and tactical support to the EVP of Marketing, contributing to department-wide global planning, pro-actively inspiring and motivating the wider brand team.
14. Add value to the brands through knowledge and sharing of travel trends, hospitality, and culture.

16. Someone who’s organised and creative – this role is responsible for the PR across multiple brands and many projects, so must be good at juggling!
17. Someone with experience managing PR agencies across different cultures and continents.

19. A brand guardian – ensuring brand stories are refined and reflective of our brand values and strategy.
20. A strong writer with the ability to draft and edit exciting press releases that engage and excite media.
21. A creative campaign thinker – from ideation to delivery - capable of translating ideas and visions into a reality.
22. Someone proactive and able to work independently but likes being sociable & collaborative too.
