Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN
Hourly Rate: £22 (plus paid breaks)

Our client, a stunning nursing home in Thames Ditton is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team. Known for its high-quality care and welcoming atmosphere, this nursing and residential home is rated "Good" by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and offers a supportive and friendly setting, encouraging a collaborative approach among staff to deliver the best possible care.
As a Registered Nurse you will be working full-time, covering 48 hours per week with both day and night shifts on a rotational basis, including alternate weekends. This role requires an active NMC PIN and a proactive approach to ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of nursing care.
Requirements:
NMC Registration: A valid and active NMC PIN is essential for this role.
Experience: Previous experience in a nursing home or residential care setting is preferred, though not essential. Newer nurses with a strong commitment to high standards are encouraged to apply.
Flexibility and Reliability: Willingness to work both day and night shifts on rotation and commit to alternate weekends to meet the needs of the residents.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team, fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivering Individualized Care: Provide high-quality nursing care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident, ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity.
Administering Medications and Treatments: Safely manage and administer medications according to individual care plans, observing and reporting any changes in residents' health status.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately maintain up-to-date medical records and care plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting clear communication across the care team.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to resident care, engaging in handovers and meetings to align on care priorities.
Support for Residents and Families: Build positive relationships with residents and their families, addressing questions or concerns, and providing reassurance about care procedures and policies.
