Temporary Staffing Administrator (Band 3) - Administration and Clerical - Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking to expand our friendly and successful nursebank team and are currently recruiting for a Temporary Staffing Administrator, based in Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
In our busy environment, you will be part of a team acting as the first point of contact via phone and email for booking bank shifts and handling a variety of queries. The post holder will be part of a supportive team, providing an efficient and professional temporary staffing service to both our existing and new bank staff, as well as our clinical and management teams requiring staff.
Your responsibilities will include supporting our frontline clinical teams by covering vacant shifts with bank and agency workers, while accurately recording information onto our systems. You should have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively in a sensitive and confidential manner, as you will be dealing with a wide range of queries.
Communication and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to work under your own initiative. The post holder should have excellent IT and organisational skills, ideally with experience of working in a fast-paced office environment.
We are looking for someone to work ideally full time who must also be able to work one 11am to 7pm shift per week and one Sunday a month from 8am to 4pm. Some working from home may be possible following training.
Our vision is to provide outstanding care for every patient. Patient care is at the heart of what we do at our three sites: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, and Andover War Memorial Hospital. Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides medical and surgical services to a population of approximately 600,000 people across Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire.
Our cultural ambition is to have a culture that places people at the heart of all we do, where we all belong, and where learning, improvement, and excellence thrive.
