Temporary Credit Controller - 6 months maternity cover On site in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear. The Role: We are looking for a temporary Credit Controller to provide 6 months maternity cover, starting in January 2025. The role will be to support group cashflow through efficient management of credit control requirements across all trading entities, You will be working with a busy, close knit team and will be required to be office based in the first instance, here in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Prioritise securing payment from customers within the company's credit terms, in order to maintain company cash flow and minimise bad debt Follow Group credit control procedures to ensure efficient collection of outstanding debt and suggest process improvements where identified Maintain the Aged Debt report and spreadsheet and provide commentary for the Finance Leadership Team providing details of outstanding debt, and escalate/agree best course of action where required Resolve customer invoices queries by telephone and email, liaising with team members from other departments to ensure a prompt outcome General finance admin duties as required Experience, knowledge and competencies Essential: Previous Credit Control experience Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills Self-motivated with sense of accountability Strong IT & systems knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Sharepoint, Business Central and Microsoft Great Plains.
