7. Appropriate level of field construction experience, typically gained through a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience OR trade discipline qualified with a minimum 7 years relevant practical experience
8. Have a broad and deep technical knowledge of construction discipline and associated processes
9. Ability to identify risk to delivery and build in mitigation / contingency plans
10. Substantial experience of interpreting discipline documentation
11. Sound knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard in Construction (HAZCON)
12. Substantial knowledge and understanding of technical specifications, codes and standards
13. Comprehensive understanding of Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (CDM) Regulations 2015
14. Demonstrable experience in the role of Principal Contractor and CDM duties throughout the execution phase of the project, in conjunction with an understanding of Client, Principal Designer and Designer Duties
15. Awareness of Temporary Works, and an understanding of the requirements for design and construction of site Temporary Works (TW)
Minimum Qualifications:
16. Suitable academic qualifications (ONC/HNC) in a relevant Engineering discipline or appropriate level of field construction experience. or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
17. Vocational Qualification such as NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management an advantage
18. SSSTS/SMSTS
19. CSCS
20. CCNSG
Desirable Experience & Skills:
21. Good knowledge of GMP within a Pharmaceutical Environment
22. Demonstrable experience in the management of multi disciplined projects in the pharmaceutical, batch chemical production or other relevant industries is preferred
23. Excellent communications skills
24. Strong effective delegation skills
25. Exposure and familiar with working within a technical environment
