In order to pursue service excellence, the Council is seeking to recruit an experienced manager who will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Estates and Asset Management Department, advancing an approach which maximises the opportunity for a wide portfolio and adds value across the Council and with key external partners.
The Head of Estates & Asset Management will oversee all the Council’s estates and assets, currently 250 buildings and 3000 acres of land, responsible for building maintenance, facilities management and corporate insurance. The roleholder will deliver the Council’s strategic asset management strategy and lead on office optimisation, the efficiency agenda and maximising opportunities for investment and regeneration, working across internal and external stakeholders.
