The role
Your role as a Project Controller will include providing updates on the status of all capital funded projects, as well as maintaining key datasets to allow coordination with capital funding and major gateway milestone approvals and generating cash-flow projections for capital projects in the short, medium, and long term.
You will also help with the creation, planning and management of the overall Capital Expenditure plan for MAG, covering multiple financial years. Moreover, you will be responsible for undertaking audit & assurance of contractor submissions, in line with NEC contract management principles.
What will make you successful in the role?
To be successful in the role, you will need a minimum of three years of experience with Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM enterprise tool, which you can use to create and manage bespoke reports, integrate with other systems, and ensure a smooth implementation.
You will also have the skills to transfer and migrate data from different sources and versions, and to provide accurate cash-flow forecasts and profiles for project delivery. Moreover, you will have a Project Controls or Project Management foundation qualification and an advanced level of Primavera P6 user capability.
A commercial background and experience in complex multi-stakeholder projects are preferred but is not essential.
