JobScope
Comprehensive testing of high complexity electromechanicalproducts that form part of a marine radar navigation product range.
JobFunctions
·Comprehensive testing(including RF), fault-finding, rework, and assembly of electromechanicalequipment to a high standard of quality.
·Work from detailedprocedures, drawings, documents, change notes, schematics, oral and writteninstructions.
·Work and rework to a highstandard of accuracy, consisting of operations such as, soldering &unsoldering, wiring & crimping, drilling, filing & cutting, detailedrework of printed circuit assemblies, and application of mastic &adhesives, using a variety of tools and equipment necessary to complete theoperations.
·Check and inspect own workand work of others, including proactive troubleshooting and problem solving.
·Participate with the creationof SOPs and test documentation etc.
·Raise defect reports.
·View, print and enter datavia the company business data management system.
·Have a conscientious,proactive approach with attention to detail.
·Create and work in a teamenvironment while implementing continuous improvements and ensuring the highestquality.
·Keep facilities, material,and work area orderly, exercising care in their use, maintaining 5S standardsand conforming to all ethics, health, safety, compliance, and qualityrequirements.
·Any other tasks to supportthe operations team.
Requirements
·Analytical approach to problem solving with strong numeracyand literacy skills.
·Proven experience of RFtesting, fault finding, rework and assembly to a high standard of quality.
·Proven proactive ability, with strong team skills andattention to detail.
·PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
·Experience of working in a cellular manufacturing environmentwould be an advantage.
·Radar knowledge would be an advantage.
ExperienceRequired
·At least 2 years’ experience in an engineering ormanufacturing environment.
