Position: Senior Sales Engineer - UK

Location: Nottingham (hybrid)
Overview:
We are recruiting for an ambitious Senior Sales Engineer to join this international Mechanical Engineering Group with UK office based near Nottingham. The company are very dynamic and a world wide leader in their field so this opportunity will suit an experienced Sales Engineer looking to join an exciting company and develop!
Responsibilities include:
* Developing customer relationships across the UK
* Maximising existing customers as well as developing new business and customers including OEM and distribution
* Working closely with customers providing product support in association with technical / engineering teams
* Reporting directly to the Sales Director
* Responsible for promoting products to customers
* Develop a multi-channel approach
* Work closely with internal and external teams regarding market and product insights, trends, data and competitor analysis
* Continuously improving customer experience
* Work closely with Marketing - publications, marketing material etc
* Travel across the territory - meeting customers, trade shows etc (approx 30 - 40%)
* Weekly reporting and CRM system management
Candidate Profile:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Business related subject
* At least 4 years’ B2B sales or account management experience
* Experience of industrial / mechanical engineering sector
* Proven track record of sales and customer success in different channels - direct, OEM and distributor
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Customer focused
* Happy to travel across the UK as required (approx 30%)
* Ability to work well in a close team environment as well as independently
