As a result of ongoing growth and expansion Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder requires Forklift, Side loader, Shunters and Gantry Crane Operators. Working at their Central Distribution Depot in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.
Job Purpose:
To assist with the smooth running of our distribution facility, ensuring function, quality and productivity at all times.
The Job Role:
1. • Reporting to the operations manager.
2. • Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
3. • You will be fully trained in all aspects of the handling and loading of Sectional Steel products.
4. • Making sure that jobs meet the required deadline

5. • Someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, hardworking, driven and self-motivated with a desire to learn.
6. • Be flexible to do paid overtime when necessary
7. • Ability to thrive under pressure
8. • Willingness and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
9. • Having a passionate and positive attitude along with a strong work ethic
10. • Must have a good command of the English language
11. • Verbal communication with accuracy and attention to detail is essential
