Trainee Controls Engineer
£50,000 - £60,000 DOE
Days for 3 months for full training, then onto 4on/4off Days
The Opportunity:
This is an incredible opportunity for an electrically biased maintenance engineer looking to step up into a Controls Engineer role. You will be able to fault find on PLC’s currently and have some knowledge of ladder/function blocks. The main PLC’s on site are Mitsubishi but they are looking for someone who has experience on any PLC’s. There will be 3 months hands on training from the Controls Manager working days Monday – Friday. This role will then change to a 4on/4off DAYS shift pattern.
Experience required for a maintenance engineer:
Minimum 5 year’s experience working as an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
Level 3 qualified in electrical at least, HNC desirable
Be able to fault find on PLC’s – understand ladder/function blocks
Any electrical maintenance engineer from a manufacturing environment welcome – FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, foundry, brick, distribution, automotive, metals, etc
