Facilities Administrator
Location: West Kent Contract: Full time - Temporary Contract with the potential of going permanent Salary: £12-£13ph
About Us: Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking institution committed to providing a safe, well-maintained, and conducive learning environment for students and staff. We are looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Administrator to join their facilities team.
Role Overview: As a Facilities Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with scheduling experience or previous work in a facilities management environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Organise and schedule engineers and contractors for maintenance and repair work. Ensure all appointments are logged and managed efficiently to minimise disruption to school operations. Raise and log maintenance issues on the service desk system. Monitor and update the status of open jobs and escalate urgent matters as necessary Update the team regularly on job progress and completion. Assist in raising and processing invoices. Provide general administrative support to the estates and facilities team as needed.What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in scheduling, facilities management, or a similar administrative role is highly desirable. Strong ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
