From October, a Calder Valley Primary school is looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a girl in Year 1 with multiple needs.
Day to day for this SEND teaching assistant role:
Supporting with moving safely around school
Supporting child with learning
Administrating medication
Some personal care
Some post (mild) seizure supportFirst Aid and Epliepsy traiing will be given upon securing theposition.
As a support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with his timetable. The pupil will require some medical administration and occassional first aid.
