Internal Communications Manager - Salary - £46,041 - £55,155pa
This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to join Havering Council’s award-winning internal communications team as the Internal Communications Manager.
We are looking for a dynamic communications manager who will make the jobs of our 3,000 strong workforce easier with a range of informative, creative and engaging content.
You will be an experienced communicator who is at ease working in the centre of large, complex organisations.
Tactically, your communications skills and advice will be tried, tested and valued. You will be productive in your output and you will manage multiple projects, channels and people.
To be successful in this role, you will move from the tactical to the strategic using your comms expertise to deliver key priorities that save time and money. This will include generating ideas that deliver financial savings, supporting corporate priorities such as improving customer services and delivering the council’s corporate plan.
Your communications antenna will be constantly switched on to ensure that staff morale is maintained and that the council’s greatest asset, our amazing staff, continue to provide solutions to the challenges faced by local councils.
