We are looking for highly motivated, skilled and reliable Rehabilitation worker in the Great Dunmow area to earn £20 per hour. The role requires a patient and skilled person to support our male client with a brain injury and complex behaviour including but not limited to aggressive behaviour, reluctance to engage and follow instruction and antisocial behaviour in the community. There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010. You will need: Caring, patient and empathetic nature Have experience of supporting people with complex behaviour and be confident to deal with conflict Be able to maintain boundaries and communicate clear expectations of behaviour with our client. Experience of communication with people at all levels and excellent communication skills. Motivation to make a difference to our clients 6 months Experience of supporting clients with a Brain Injury Full working rights to work in the UK (VP do not offer sponsorship) Your role would include: Support with setting and achieving rehabilitation goals Supporting with daily living tasks including maintaining healthy diet, domestic responsibilities, attending appointments. Cognitive and behavioural support via the use of effective management strategies. Access to meaningful activities in the community and within the home. Maintaining daily records.
