Specialist Resource Provision Teaching Assistant within Brigg Primary School

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, passionate, and effective practitioner, to join our truly inclusive school with the exciting opportunity to work in a brand new SEN resource provision for children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, opening in January 2025 within Brigg Primary School as part of The North Lincolnshire SEN local offer.
We are looking for a person who has experience, skills and ambition for the children to be nurtured and educated in a way that matches their needs and enable them to accomplish their learning and personal targets.
Working across the school, with SRP and mainstream staff, the role is suited to someone with a sense of purpose, a positive outlook and attitude, and a passion for helping children be the best that they can be.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
1. Has a proven ability to support pupils with ASD or SEMH needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
2. Has the ability to work with a team in a responsive and flexible manner, responding to the instruction and advice of the provision lead.
3. Can use their initiative to solve problems.
4. Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
5. Is able to lead small groups. 1:1 teaching along with preparing lessons and resources as well as completing paperwork to demonstrate learning and impact.
6. To build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
7. Is flexible, committed to our school and willing to take a full part in the life of our school community.
