The role We’re seeking a Marketing Manager with ideally 4 years’ experience to join our team full-time. Given the dynamic, fast-paced nature of the business, the role offers almost limitless opportunities for professional development. It’s a hybrid role with 2 days per week spent with the team in central London (Waterloo), and the rest at home. Key responsibilities Perform analysis of marketing campaigns and report on metrics, trends, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and devising and implementing testing programmes Creating an annual marketing plan for each established publication in order to meet or exceed their readership growth targets Support and input into the digital transformation strategy for the business through analysis and understanding of customer engagement and behaviours Devise and implement marketing plans for new product launches Schedule and co-ordinate all marketing activity – requires a highly organised individual capable of complex scheduling, with 4-5 email campaigns per day, plus social media. Includes: Monitoring publication dates of client content,themed issues and individual items of content Scheduling all email campaigns, including newsletters, webinar promotions, and emails to drive traffic to specific items of content Social media planning – LinkedIn predominantly and X Provide final quality check for marketing campaigns set up by the Marketing Executive to ensure accuracy and correct scheduling Work directly with clients as needed to support their own marketing activities, including provision of reports on performance of campaigns Requirements Experience in B2B marketing of technically/scientifically focused content / products / services is not essential, but would be highly beneficial. Comfortable working with a marketing database in terms of its content and creating data selects for campaigns based on key words and codes. Capable of performance analysis of marketing campaigns. Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly Excellent organisation skills and eye for detail.
