URGENT HIRING: Interim Logistics Manager – STIGA UK
Location: Plympton, UK
Duration: 3 months (January–March 2025) | Potential for extension with advance notification
About STIGA:
STIGA is a leading brand in garden equipment, recognized for innovation, quality, and performance. STIGA UK, our most important subsidiary, operates with a strong and structured team led by the Managing Director.
We are urgently seeking an Interim Logistics Manager to step in and lead our Planning and Warehouse Team of around 10 staff during a critical period.
Job responsibilities:
* Logistics Management: Oversee the STIGA UK Logistics Department, coordinating delivery planning and logistics processes for finished goods, optimizing service levels, and managing warehouse operations with the 3PL Distribution Center.
* Planning and Supervision: Supervise planning functions for acquiring and transferring finished goods; create and update the forecast plan in collaboration with the sales team and Central Planning.
* Monitoring and Reporting: Track daily shipping plans, generate monthly turnover reports, and analyze SAP and BI data to manage KPIs and performance metrics.
* Inventory and Budget Management: Monitor inventory management for the UK, maintain stock records for key dealers, and take budget responsibility for logistic expenses.
* Transport Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound transport (SEA/LAND/AIR) from suppliers and plants to UK distribution centers and customers.
Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary education within logistic or corresponding skills otherwise obtained.
* Several years of experience from working within the warehouse/logistics area
* Several years of Planning experience
* Experience from being a manager is appreciated
* Management of Kpi’s reporting
* Knowledge : SAP, MS Office, Warehouse WMS
