15. Managing your schedule and having responsibility for your own revenue.
16. Travelling to customers premises and carrying out routine servicing, light maintenance and warranty/recall work.
17. To observe, recognise and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
18. To examine vehicles completely and report orally or in writing upon the vehicles condition, safety and reliability and performance.
19. To carry out all work in a responsible and safe manner
20. To attend mandatory manufacturer and in house skill development
21. To ensure all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork and electronic documentation,. PDI sheets are fully completed and signed off.
This role involves travelling and as such, you may be required to start your working day from home. The working days for this role are Monday to Thursday (week 1) and Tuesday to Friday (week 2) with suggested hours of 08:00am - 18:00pm to allow time to travel to and from customers. Who are we looking for? The successful candidate will have:
22. A Minimum Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
23. Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
24. A full, UK driving licence.
25. A positive, right first time attitude.
26. A strong team player mentality
27. The ability to work to a very high standard independently
28. Minimum set of basic tools are required
29. Good communication skills, with customers and internal staff alike
30. A willingness to learn and develop.
