Job Description
The Compliance Officer will support the Regional Compliance Officer (C/CMR-GB) in managing compliance in the UK and Ireland and in ensuring that the various divisions within the region are conducting business in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations that pertain to their industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices and internal standards.
The Compliance Officer will undertake compliance audits, dialogues, investigations and training as directed by the Regional Compliance Officer and be expected to assist in the anticipation, detection, and minimalization of criminal and civil liability risks for the Bosch entities operating within the region.
To fulfil these tasks, the Compliance Officer must have excellent people skills and be able to communicate and cooperate with all associates at whatever level within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Risk Management, periodic risk analysis, risk monitoring and mitigation, with a focus on anti-corruption, as well as carrying out measures to monitor and mitigate risks with great focus towards third-party relationships (“business partner due diligence”) and new business models.
2. Responsibility to follow up on the development of local law and proactive communication with concerned stakeholders.
3. Implementation of local policies, guidelines and procedures as needed.
4. Responsibility to provide legal and organisational advice to the management and associates with regard to compliance with relevant regulations and in preventing compliance violations.
5. Responsibility to cooperate with authorities (incl. reports to the authorities) and law firms.
6. Design and conduct training measures, support organisation and tracking.
7. Conduct and manage internal investigation of compliance cases as directed by the Regional Compliance Officer.
8. Systematic monitoring and testing of Compliance program effectiveness.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
9. University degree or equivalent level 6 qualification
10. Knowledge in legal compliance, relevant criminal law and compliance regulations,
work experience in compliance or related field is a plus
11. Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
12. Fluent in English
13. Very good IT skills and knowledge
