Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons to students
* Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies
* Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Religious Education or related field
* Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Religious Education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education or related field
Experience:
* Previous experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level
* Demonstrated track record of student achievement and engagement
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different religious beliefs and practises
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience with assessment for learning strategies
