This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing Assistant to join Grove Village Housing Management team, to support with delivering a range of professional housing and estate management services to our customers.
Grove Village is a housing estate comprising of circa 1000 rented and privately owned properties situated in Ardwick just outside Manchester City Centre and offers unique housing experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Housing Assistant that thrives on providing excellent customer service and continuously seeks to improve performance.
What will my working week look like?
This is an office based position providing first point of contact for our customers living on Grove Village. This could be face to face, over the phone or via email providing all aspects of housing management services. The office is open 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday and you will work a shift rota between 8.30am and 5pm.
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will be first point of contact for our rented and leasehold customers living on the estate. You will provide administrative support to the Housing Officers eg preparation of various documents, invoice coding, purchase orders, repairs reporting and monitoring, rent and service charge reviews etc.
One of the great things about this role is working within a great team providing tangible support to our customers.
System management is an important part of the role and you will maintain property management information, including updating of Orchard Housing, website pages, spreadsheets, databases, standard letters etc. Maintain databases and internal records for all initiatives and transactions managed within the team, ensuring accurate information is provided for management information.
