Credit Control Team Leader

As part of a central finance function with multiple ledgers, we are looking for a Credit Control Team Leader to lead a team of Credit Control and supporting staff. You will be responsible for the timely collection of outstanding payments.
To do this, you will manage and motivate a team of Accounts Receivable staff including workload management, target setting, one-to-ones, appraisals, and personal development. You will be a point of escalation for all related customer queries and responsible for the regular debtor reporting and managing the month-end close of the ledgers.
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a similar role, someone with supervisory experience in an accounts receivable environment, ideally within a large organization with multiple ledgers.
The key to this role is people management, understanding the team and the individuals in it, to get the best out of them. Creating and maintaining good working relationships, motivating staff while ensuring a positive working atmosphere is essential.
The salary is up to £35,500.
Hours are office-based, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays.
