ARM are
currently working with a railway organisation who are responsible for developing, maintaining and running the majority of the railway networks in the UK. They are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the team in Swindon on an initial 6-month contract.
About You:
To be applicable for this position…
- You will have an engineering degree (Geology or Civil engineering)
- You will have experience of railway civil engineering with good working knowledge of geotechnical policies and standards.
- You will have an active PTS competence.
- You will need a valid UK's drivers license.
What you will be doing:
In this position you will be providing engineering input to earthwork examinations ensuring that asset records are maintained and accurately updated accordingly. You will lead the requirements for examination and undertake evaluation, assessment and risk management of geotechnical assets.
This position will be based out of Swindon but may require travel to other sites including, Bristol and Cardiff.
What you can expect in return:
This role is an initial 6-month contract and will be looking to pay £ per day inside IR35 via an umbrella company.
You will need to be permanently eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid PTS for this position. ARM will also complete a DBS check for the successful candidate.
