Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing issues and performing repairs on various types of vehicles.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults and malfunctions.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre changes.
3. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
4. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repair tasks.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
Skills
1. Proficient in mechanical repair techniques and troubleshooting methods.
2. Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and engine mechanics.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
4. Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients effectively.
5. Experience with diagnostic equipment is an advantage.
6. A valid UK driving licence is essential.
