The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Scheduling and Planning Manager on behalf of a Construction Services business with offices in Watford.
The Role
As Scheduling and Planning Manager you will work in a senior capacity to support the leadership team and work to improve the level and complexity of planning for the business in order to better support resource planning, revenue forecasting and growth for the business. Day to day duties will consist of:
1. Development and implementation of clear and robust processes within the planning and scheduling function to include management of the short-term scheduling of all services and the development of mid to long term plans and scenario models to meet the future business needs.
2. Lead on all aspects of planning and scheduling including the reporting of up-to-date performance data and challenges and opportunities arising from it.
3. Be a key communication channel to all areas including Business Development and Sales.
4. Lead on key business meetings including the Sales, Operations and Planning meeting, leading on performance reporting, future forecasts and the identification and prioritisation of challenges to enable informed discussion and agreement on business priorities.
5. Development of KPI's and objectives such as schedule adherence and the delivery of mid-term plans and longer-term scenario models, team development, flexibility, and resilience to meet future business needs.
6. The role will work closely with other senior leaders and managers to identify and deliver both short- and long-term business plans to drive operational performance and customer satisfaction
7. Lead on the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and reporting requirements as the business grows to meet the changing needs of the customer
Your Profile
You will be an experienced Planning and Scheduling Leader with experience ideally within a manufacturing, service or contract based business with the ability to develop clear, transparent schedules, plans and scenario models to maximise productivity and performance.

Salary and Benefits
Role of Scheduling and Planning Manager is working on a hybrid basis in Watford and paying a salary of 55-70K.
