About the role
This role supports the Restaurant Manager in the development and delivery of excellent front of house service at Rochdale Town Hall’s new in-house restaurant, The Martlet Kitchen. The postholder will be tasked with delivering a coherent operation, which attracts new and returning customers, whilst always ensuring the service supports the wider strategic vision of the town hall. The postholder will use customer feedback to contribute to the development of menus and ensure that the needs of our customers are reflected in the restaurant offer.
About you
We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager of excellence and experience to join the Town Hall’s growing restaurant team.
You will be a good team player, be able to work under pressure and have the ability to manage staff as part of the day to day operations of The Martlet Kitchen.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our busy restaurant team.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will contribute to the commercial success of Rochdale Town Hall through the building of an operational model which consistently delivers high-quality catering for up to 150 diners per day, exceeding their expectations and creating lasting memories.
You will also support the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef to deliver a programme of training for all front-of-house staff to ensure first class customer service is delivered to all our guests.
