Role Summary
The Content Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of educational content development and management. This role encompasses the entire spectrum of content creation, from conceptualisation to delivery, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives and educator needs. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team of content creators and editors, ensuring that all materials adhere to the highest standards of quality and educational value.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the complete process of educational content creation, ensuring all resources are high-quality and engaging.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to align content with educational standards and objectives.
• Maintain guidelines and standards for uniformity in tone, style, and quality across all materials.
• Conduct regular audits of content to ensure ongoing accuracy and relevance.
• Manage and guide a team of content creators and instructional designers, providing feedback and support.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure content meets broader organisational goals.
• Develop quality assurance processes for content review and approval.
• Stay updated on educational trends to ensure content relevance.
• Explore innovative content delivery methods, including multimedia and interactive resources.
Essential
• Proven experience in content management, instructional design, or educational publishing, preferable in an EdTech environment.
• Strong understanding of educational principles and curriculum development.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and web-based content authoring tools.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and project management skills.
Desirable
• Experience with 11+ exam preparation or GCSE-level education.
• Background in digital content creation, including multimedia tools.
• Understanding of instructional design principles and educational frameworks.
• Previous experience working closely with educators and curriculum developers in EdTech.
