We’re recruiting to some new roles within our Facilities Management Team.
These positions provide an exciting opportunity to develop how the Council’s properties are managed and maintained going forward with a focus on the safety and welfare of employees and other people who use our buildings.
In this role you will be supporting the financial monitoring of the revenue budgets, capital programme and trading accounts prepared in respect of the running and use of the Council’s land and property portfolio.
To support the delivery of high-quality information and the analysis of data for the production of monitoring reports, to enable suitable working environments in accordance with statutory requirements and financial good practice.
What will I be doing?
1. Proactively monitor, co-ordinate and collate data from multiple systems associated with the monitoring of costs and performance associated with Council’s land and property portfolio.
2. Utilise information technology to ensure the accurate recording and manipulation of property related da
3. To identify and escalate areas of significant deviations in building budgets.
4. Support with collecting and analysing data for use in the production of property performance indicators and to assist in performance benchmarking
What skills and experience do I need to have?
5. Experience of the collection, collation and monitoring of financial information relating to property management budgets in a large and complex organisation or equivalent.
6. Good knowledge of budget monitoring processes.
7. Ability to analyse and interpret data using proven analytical and ICT skills within Microsoft office products.
8. Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
9. Relevant vocational qualification and relevant or significant and relevant practical experience
