Job Duties:
* Provide support to students with additional learning needs
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Provide one-on-one or small group support as required
* Assist with administrative tasks related to student progress
Required Qualifications:
* Good standard of general education
* Experience working with children or young adults
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Welsh-Medium- preferred but not essential
Education:
Minimum of GCSE qualifications or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
* Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
* Basic IT skills
* Patience and empathy
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Work within a school setting
* Full-time hours with occasional additional responsibilities
* Potential exposure to challenging behaviour
