The Security Engineer will be responsible for monitoring our organisation's systems and networks. You will use reports and measures to identify and mitigate security risks, implement security responses, and monitor for potential threats.

Your core responsibilities
1. Implement, monitor and maintain security protocols and policies.
2. Conduct regular system tests to ensure the effectiveness of security measures.
3. Monitor our networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
4. React to security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
5. Monitor security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure.
6. Work with security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
7. Ensure that security policy and procedures of Biffa and industry standard are maintained.
8. Provide appropriate security reports to senior managers as appropriate.
9. Adhere to all key performance indicators and service level agreements

Our essential requirements
10. Microsoft, Azure, and MS public and private cloud certifications
11. Knowledge necessary to propose relevant security responses to changing business and project risks
12. 2 years experience as a Security Engineer or similar role
13. Detailed understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
