Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring science lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 (with potential KS5 teaching)
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity and a love for science
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
- Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in Science or a related field
- Strong subject knowledge across all areas of Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
- Enthusiasm for working with young people and a passion for education
