Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:15am – 3:00pm
Friday: 8:15am – 2:30pm
Pay: £12.90 per hour
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated Pupil Support Worker to join our team at a secondary school supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to students with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom.
2. Build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them engage positively with their education.
3. Use effective behaviour management strategies to support a calm and productive learning environment.
4. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver targeted support.
About You:
1. Strong behaviour management skills are essential.
2. Ability to build rapport and maintain positive working relationships with pupils.
3. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people.
4. Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
