The Opportunity
Sales Controller - Porsche Centre Perth, Scotland.
Basic salary up to £38,500 plus competitive & attractive bonus potential, offering an OTE of up to £65,000, company car PLUS excellent benefits with the Peter Vardy ‘Net Better Off’ scheme.
5 Day working week, closed on a Sunday.

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Sales Controller to join our award-winning Porsche Centre in Perth, which opened its doors in April 2018, making it the youngest Porsche Centre in Scotland.

As a Sales Controller you will help lead and develop our Sales Teams to achieve or exceed Unit, F&I and Value-Added Product objectives. You will work as one collaborative unit to produce personalised video presentations where relevant and to welcome guests, taking them through the sales process in a totally guest centric manner. Whilst the Porsche Pro support specific parts of the sales journey, you and the Sales Advisors are responsible for presenting offers, concluding orders, processing the paperwork, and achieving the financial objectives. The separate Handover team conclude the guest journey delivering a world class handover and following up to ensure guest satisfaction.
What you will do
1. Ensure that all finance policies and procedures are adhered to by daily checking all relevant funding information.
2. Works with and supports Sales Manager to maintain status as FCA approved advisor and achieve monthly objectives.
3. Reviews monthly sales and profit information instigating action to meet targets.
4. Demonstrates an understanding of competitors, the external marketplace and industry developments.
5. Achieves finance targets and agreed profit targets for ‘add-ons’ e.g., paint protection insurance.
6. Improves profitability by negotiating the best financial deal and offer customers extended service contracts, protection programmes and accessory packages.
7. Consults with customers to establish their needs, resolves any complaints professionally and calmly.
8. Sets high standards for self and others, ensuring a motivated and positive environment for sales team.
9. Creates a daily & weekly structure that drives customer retention and renewals
10. Formulates action plans to increase finance, insurance, and warranty sales
11. Ensures the sales process is adhered to by all Sales Advisors.
What you will need
12. Experienced Sales Controller or Business Manager within the luxury sector
13. A high level of professional acumen and have an outstanding work ethic
14. Fantastic communication skills and natural ability to build conversation.
15. A natural and progressive passion for sportscars and the product you promote
16. Ability to lead and motivate a team of Sales Advisors & Porsche Pro
17. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
18. Self Motivated and ability to work under pressure.
19. A class-leading level of organisation and articulation.
20. A keen and progressive understanding of EV (electric vehicles) and the evolution of electrification.
