We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to take on the role of Manager for two vital children's services:
Harwood House: A warm and supportive 3-bedded residential service providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with complex health needs.
Bakers Way Respite Service: A critical service supporting children with complex health needs by providing respite care, ensuring families receive the support they need to stay together.
As the Manager of these services, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing your teams to deliver exceptional care. Your work will directly impact the lives of the children and families we support, helping to create a positive and lasting difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Oversee the daily operations of both Harwood House and the Bakers Way, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulations.
Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Service Delivery: Ensure that both services provide safe, compassionate, and individualised care that meets the needs of children and their families.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, and external partners to ensure the best outcomes for those in our care.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
Emergency Response are a requirement of this post.
